Stena Recycling in Halmstad has an IDA that is specifically designed to clean flows with very high levels of PFAS, such as firefighting foam or extinguishing water.
In 2023, a development project was carried out together with a PhD student from Luleå University of Technology to see how Helios technology could be used to dewater digester effluent into a nutrient-rich fertilizer.
An EVA is located in the port of Gothenburg. In 2025, the unit will purify the contents of a cistern in the port area. After that, the facility will receive various types of contaminated water from several of Stena's customers.
