Stena Recycling Halmstad - EVA
At Stena Recycling in Halmstad, an EVA purifies different types of process water from several types of industries.
The installation was carried out during the summer of 2023 and in early 2024 EVA achieved stable operation. This is Helios Innovation's first major facility and it is used as a development and demonstration facility to showcase and test new materials and components.
The plant has a capacity of around 6000 m3/year, and is powered by residual heat mixed with heat from Stena Recycling's oil boiler. Stena receives process water from various types of industrial players, and the focus is on the types of water that are too difficult for conventional technology or have high opportunity costs.
